After its failure to filter Russia-linked fake news and incendiary ads during the 2016 election, Facebook is cracking down on advertisers--beginning with the promotion of Initial Coin Offerings (story below). In his annual note a few weeks ago, CEO Mark Zuckerberg made oblique reference to cryptocurrency technologies, saying: "One of the most interesting questions in technology right now is about centralization vs decentralization. A lot of us got into technology because we believe it can be a decentralizing force that puts more power in people's hands."
